1.5 lb ground beef or turkey

1 TB Mustard

worcestershire sauce

1 TB Italian Seasoning

1/2 TB garlic powder

1/4 C parmesan cheese, plus more for topping

Jar of Favorite Tomato Sauce

1 lb spaghetti noodles, cooked according to packaged directions

Garlic Bread

1/2 C softened butter

1/2 TB garlic powder

  1. Mix meat, worcestershire sauce, mustard, seasonings, and salt in a bowl with your hands. Smell the mixture it should smell earthy and delicious. If using turkey you may need to add a touch of breadcrumb.
  2. Shape meatballs into desired shape, making sure to keep them all evenly sized. A small bowl of water can help with meats that are more sticky like turkey.
  3. Heat a sauté pan with about 1 TB olive oil. Sear meatballs on all sides.
  4. Carefully remove any excess grease.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce, lower heat, and cover. Simmer on low heat until meatballs are all the way cooked.
  6. Serve with spaghetti noodles and top with basil.

Garlic Bread

  1. Mix together butter, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Cut baguette into 1 inch slices.
  3. Spread each piece of bread with butter.
  4. Toast bread in a medium skillet until golden brown.
